Hardware o3ds shuts off when bumping or moving

some time ago my 3ds started shutting off when i touched the part between screens or making a sudden move so i can´t play action games anymore i tried to take it to repair but they told me that they needed to change the top screen and asked for a lot of money
can someone had a similar experience?

Maybe the top screen ribbon is loose (not making proper contact) or damaged. Have you dropped the 3ds a lot?

As long as it's not a motherboard issue, it shouldn't be too hard to repair.

Hey there, have you something to open it? Check it the cables (incluiding flex) maybe needs a new cable flex or a new screen

I had the 3ds since 2014 and i had dropped it a lot of times but it suddenly started to shuts off

the screen work perfectly fine i think is the cable fault

Yeeeep, maybe needs a new flex-cable.
Why dont first check it? maybe its making bad-connection
If you want to open it, please, be careful, specially with flex-cables.

i think i saw a burned cable between the 3ds screens
i remember that it started shutting off after i charged it does anyone know where i can get one?

If you live in México, see in MercadoLibre, or Segunda Mano. its only the way to get it...
EDIT: Don't think about burned cables, maybe if you dropped a lot of times you 3DS, maybe one of the cables maybe is failing, charging doesn't affect this.

just noticed that when you move the top screen into certain angle the brightness raises but when i move it to that angle it is likely to shut off
