So im planning to get this over the weekend since the 3DS has such low battery life. i heard it doesnt double the amount of battery life but its similar in a way. i just want to know if u guys like it.

OBJECTION!
I'd like to present These two pieces of Evidence for you to see.

I haven't gotten my hands on one yet, but I plan to, and multiple test runs with it that have been published about it have nailed the claimed 2x life that the product claims. IDK where you heard it didn't actually last the 2x time but the evidence I pulled from the Court Record supports the claims as true.

Also, from what I hear Best Buy has them, but it's just the battery right now, I plan to get the battery/base bundle when it comes out.

This is what you would be looking for

Great battery! hey guys run to toys r us i got it for $16 bucks all nyko products are 30% off i was surprised they had it but they didn't have the cradle ill check this week.
If they get the combo ill prolly buy it since nyko peripherals are on sale, toys r us has been 3DS heaven for me, first its was the buy one game get half off another and now this!
good luck finding one!

I was considering this, but instead I opted to get a Powerpod Executive by Power Bee. it is essentially a 3500mah battery the size and shape of an iPhone that can be charged with solar power or USB. You can also connect any USB device to it to charge up. Got me 3ds USB cable which should do the trick.

If it trustworthy...

Looks good! =O but it's way too expensive >_>. The added protector is nice though.

You can go to a Rite Aid and buy a turbo charger it uses 2 AA and it works for all your portables, you can charge while you play and when it runs out of power just replace the batteries for unlimited power on the go

only $20 and comes with all you need to plug in your portable game systems even your first set of AA! its also an led flashlight. This item is worth every penny!

That might not be permanent if true. Plus I haven't got any hits yet.

Nollog is it better to go for powerplay or some universal charger?

Another reason to get powerplay over nyko.

Some folk are claiming if the 3ds goes without power for 10 seconds, you won't be able to streetpass with anyone you've streetpassed with again!
Since powerplay doesn't seem to require you to take out the battery, it's risk free!
So... what if you plug in the 3DS while swapping batteries? So long as you don't go sticking anything where it doesn't belong you should be okay and it'll keep power while you make the swap. Problem solved! And I'm sure this is something Nintendo will patch in the near future.

lil video i made showing what to look for at best buy. nothing explaining the whole system or anything, all that was in the box was the battery cradle and a mini crosshead screwdriver which i dont recommend using. battery was around 80% charged when i got it. you use the nintendo charger plugged upside down into the back of the cradle.
