Eh, it's too early to tell.
I'm mostly indifferent here. I think the cost is too high, but that's to be expected with the rising price of tech over the last few years.
I want to see some benchmarks or some real-world tests before I make any full judgements on the 40 series cards. I think like pretty much any other release they're hyping this card up to destroy other cards in bencharks and synthetic tests, which I'm sure it will do just fine, but in terms of real-world benefits, especially at the moment, are they going to be night and day from the 30 series cards or the RX 6000 cards? I doubt it.
For someone with 10 series card or earlier, I bet it will be a huge jump, but for someone who just invested in a 30 series card, they should pass, at least until later.
