Only these games exist on Dreamcast :

  • Street Fighter Alpha 3
  • Street Fighter III - New generation
  • Street Fighter III - Double Impact
  • Street Fighter III - Third Strike
So you do hate the other street fighter ports.

You didn't even mention:
  • Super Street Fighter II X for Matching Service
  • Street Fighter Zero 3: Saikyo-ryu Dojo for Matching Service
And you might be out of the loop which is understandable, but lucky for everyone these also exist:
  • Hyper Street Fighter Alpha
  • Street Fighter Alpha
  • Street Fighter Alpha 2
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
  • Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha Gold
  • Ultra Street Fighter II

Alpha 0.801 is online, it supports Street Fighter 3 3
https://github.com/BenoitAdam/nullDC4Wii/releases/tag/alpha0.801

Will update and check for old bugs.

BTW, the colors in the menu are visually useful, nice touch.

Indeed The Readme for the bios was wrong, the good place is :

SD:\apps\nulldc4wii\data\

You should see a Real_wii_Put_bios_here.txt file here

Also I'm not sure but SF33 Arcade should be launchable with RetroArch...no ?

CPS3 cores, but the game doesn't run smoothly. One solution is to enable frame skipping; another, which I discovered myself, is to disable audio V-sync (without using frame skipping). This brings the gameplay much closer to perfection, though the audio quality suffers—still, it makes for a much better playing experience.

I tried *Street Fighter III* on my CRT using an RGB connection. I selected "RGB cable" in the settings, but nothing happened. I tried selecting "RGB cable" again, and when launching the game, I pressed "Start" and "Y" (using the GameCube controller mapping—these are the buttons used in emulators). The resolution changed, but on the CRT, the image appeared magnified 4x, so only one-quarter of it is actually visible on the screen.

@niuus I'd like to let you know I'm working on a port of Seaman for the Dreamcast that works with the Wii Speak or a USB microphone instead of the Dreamcast microphone. It's a decompilation I did myself. After that, I plan to work on The Typing of the Dead

If you use the VGA hack versionof Street Fighter III it may does this

Otherwise, try the 3 parameters of the Cable (Composite/RGB/VGA)

Dino Crisis, 3rd Strike and Soul Reaver are working no problem.

Dino Crisis has some Flickering of background texture when entering gameplay no ? Do you use the preset or not ?

What console do you use ? Wii ? Wii U ?

Indeed, Border Down is not WinCE, I'll remove that message in next version. Thanks for the report !

TIP : if you miss a bit of Speed on any game on Wii, put Frameskip=auto

Yesterday, I was testing *Street Fighter Zero 3*—specifically the Japanese version, *Street Fighter Zero 3 - Saikyo-ryu Dojo v1.007 (1999) (Capcom) (JP) [!]*—in .gdi format, using the emulator's default settings (without selecting the specific game profile). I was absolutely blown away by how well it runs on the Wii via the Dreamcast emulator. I’m not really into fighting games, but I found the movement and gameplay incredible; it offers a real sense of total control. There are a few minor graphical glitches, like screen tearing, but the overall performance on the Wii is remarkable. I honestly don’t think there’s any difference compared to playing it on an original Dreamcast—it’s as good as it could possibly get. Even so, I’m going to check if I have it on CD, or try to get a copy, just to compare—but I was truly impressed.
By the way, I believe this game defaults to 240p when using an RGB cable on the Dreamcast; I tested it, but it doesn't output that video signal—I suppose it might need to be specifically implemented for this particular game, or something along those lines.

I didn't notice any flickering on Dino. However, the item menu didn't have any pictures. Is that what the regina hack setting is for? Using a Wii with classic controller. Way to go with nullDC 👍.

Quick note: Legacy of kain menus didn't appear with any fixed depth settings.

mmm so the default settings doesn't give flcikering on Dino Crisis ? I have to check that.

You have to use the preset system otherwise... Please check the readme on github about that

The new homebrew games for Dreamcast—such as Sturmwind, Fast Striker, Gunlord, Neoxyx, and several others—do not work for me; they won't launch. Is a special configuration required, or are they not yet playable on the Wii? Thank you very much for your work on the emulator.
