Yes Sys mean it is on CFW, on non CFW it says Ver.

One last thing, when I try to turn on the console w/o the sd card it just powers on and turns back off. Is that normal? Also, thanks for all the help.

It is fine, as long it boot fine with the SD card inside the 3DS it is fine, remember to do a nand backup using godmode9.

Just use sysnand, and do a sysnand backup, emunand is a hassle if you want to switch SD card in the future.
