I ordered two r4i gold cards from nds-cards.
I can't pay them from paypal directly so i need to wait until i get email from them. I hope the price won't rise until i get it.

2DS or 3DS variant? If 3DS, are you putting the magnet in the right spot, directly over the ABXY buttons? Plailect notes that it's an awkward position. Also, you don't know for 100% that your motherboard isn't damaged, right?

It's a 2ds, and as far as I know my motherboard isn't damaged at all. I have been doing the correct positions, I've been able to power it on while its sleep mode switch is on

I'm still trying though I haven't given up hope. So far its just the same black screen it's been when I tried the combo before the hack came out.

Hey, if someone wants to send me one (or 2 or 3 preferrably tbh) I can take a look.

We couldn't find a way to reflash the necessary part of the cart's firmware. It's possible that this part isn't updatable at all--after all, Gateway themselves never released an update to the blue card to fix using it on unhacked 3DS's using the latest firmwares.

Strange, I'm pretty sure that it's only an ace 3ds clone, witch is updatable...
Some guys did some research on that in the past...

Huh, I flashed my acekard but it's still showing up as a normal acekard on 3DS's menu, is this supposed to happen? I'm to afraid to uninstall b9s to check if it works.

Installed it on my ak2i, but couldn't boot my new 2dsLL(Japanese DQ11 limited version) into SafeB9SInstaller. Yes the magnet works coz when the new 2dsLL boots it remain in black screen, when I remove the magnet, it displays the OFW launcher.
I followed the guide on 3ds.guide and pretty sure I didnt do any thing wrong.

It will probably not work if you flashed it and you launch it. Just to be sure, try to start the FlashCart and see if it works. If it doesn't, perform the MagnetHax.

The only way to for The Big N to kill this is literally new hardware. This is a bootrom exploit and every single system uses the same bootrom. So it doesn't matter what the OFW is nor even the hardware, this will work and it can't be patched out.

Quite epic. So basically every hw revision and every fw out so far, including the brand new 2ds xl, is down with that one, as long as you have a compatible flashcard, and another CFW 3DS to set up the card?

As long as you have the cart and a method to inject the exploit (powersave works too,) then are good to go! Unless Nintendo makes some new hardware with a new bootrom...which they completely missed their chance with the New2DS

I downgraded a 2DS I had lying around to 11.0 (for safety) and uninstalled B9S. I haven't been able to get it to do anything but boot to stock firmware with my AK2i. I feel like it doesn't work with the AK2i right now.

I think if the magnet is in the right place, the system will go into standby while still opened.

They are 2 different things. Try to start a game, first. If it doesn't work, I say that you can install MagnetHax. (But it may be better if someone else confirmed this too )

Holy shit did he say that? I checked the update thread on GW support forum, saw nothing new.
Although I moved into B9S already, it would be great to see the shit actually updates. Maybe I'll even use it once again!
