I've just encountered a strange problem. I've been out of the loop on the homebrew scene for a while. I'm using the latest version of SXOS with the latest Switch firmware. I've tried both Retroarch and Reicast. Basically when I open either of them through the NSP they will not accept any inputs. Retroarch I can only navigate the menus using the touch screen and games don't accept any inputs. If i open them both through the nro then they accept inputs as normal. Has anyone every encountered this and if so do they have a solution?

Yes as @JayMathis said since 9.0.1 (i think) apps need updated for controls to work. Atmo use to (kind of) fix the problem until most apps could be upgraded.

2 posts in 2 hours with exactly same question, has something happened and people have now been forced to update or sonething ?

I'm having the same problem with reicast nsp I made from nro2nsp, ppsspp works when I used nro2nsp, but reicast loads up and doesn't recognize any inputs , but the nro works fine

Yeah I saw someone on 10.0.2 say they had Reicast working. I don't really believe them because of this problem 9.0+ broke controls and unlike most other things that got updated to fix the problem Reicast never did.

I'm on the latest firmware using sxos I can confirm reicast nro works fine, it's just when I convert the nro to nsp it boots up fine but won't recognize any button inputs, ppsspp converted fine and buttons are working, why is that?
