ROM Hack NSMB EDITING black screen with flashcard

hi all, i have edited world 1 area 1 and saved -played on emulator ok
but when i add to my acekard 2i it loads till you choose the area to play then i get the black screen....
i have latest firmware installed on the card, am i missing something or is it the card compatibility?

any help would be great ..thank you neil

Try editing an other rom the same way. If it stays black, it probably is damaged or corrupted. (expamle: adding bowser junior in world 1-1 can crash the game completley)

would Paths corrupt it? i think i have messed up there, i have stuck to basic sprites for area 1, is there a way i can post the pic of my edit on here?

it would give you a black screen if:
added a sprite that cant be used in that level (it'll show up red)
and more that i don't really remember.

Also,as shown in some of NSMB3,it will crash if you have a large amount of sprites.
