I think you're thinking of injecting roms into WADS, like on the Wii. That can only be done AFTER the common/private key is found.

That's not the POINT. We're talking about how the game runs natively on it's own system.

In that regard, the Wii wins out hands down.

Actually, I should be the one to apologize as I strung this out.

In response to the topic, I am satisfied with the 20 free games. I like all types of games, whether they be 2 years old or 20.

It's pretty much just like every hand held I've ever owned at launch (barring the Nomad, but that was just a portable Genesis), lack of games, buying everything in site to get some freakin' content and still waiting weeks for a new game to come out... Happened to good share of consoles too. I've probably logged more hours in Alpha Bounce (DSiWare) on my 3DS than anything actually FOR the 3DS.

As I said, though, that's how it was w/ the GBA and DS early on, be glad it's not likely to end as poorly as the Neo Geo Pocket did (crying shame too, I love that thing).

I undesrtand and share your frustration, but I don't think it should have come as a surprise. And it's far better than rushing games to market in a broken and buggy state.

I agree with you on that point.

But, I still say they should have waited for releasing the Nintendo 3DS so they could at least have some games that people could play to take their time to make the other games, but that is just my opinion.
