Here's a game I'm pretty hyped for. Nostalgia (previously known as Winds of Nostalgia) was released last year in Japan. It's a traditional turn based RPG somewhat like Final Fantasy 3 DS. In fact, it is developed by the same people who did FF3DS and uses the same engine. Interestingly, this RPG takes place in real world locations such as New York, Cairo, London, and Tokyo. It blends real world locations with magic and other similar fantasy themes like airships. There are also airship battles which makes it stand apart from most RPG's. And there's a really neat skill customization grid system similar to Final Fantasy X.

Anyways, the official US trailer-

This game is set for September release this year in America. The Japanese version is already out. Ignition Entertainment is handling the translation. I've tried a little of the Japanese version and found it to be a very fun traditional RPG. Keep an eye on it.

Yeah!!! I love this one and KH 358/2

I beat the Japanese version and it has a good story with several elements from Final Fantasy and the command center reminds me a bit of Sakura Wars.

Lookin' good. I was very happy to hear Ignition had picked it up for U.S. publication.

The character models have an FFVII look to me. Love the whole look of the game, and I'm all about another DS RPG by Matrix.

holy shit the dragon exploded!!!!

I'm a bit less excited for this game now after seeing this trailer but I'll be sure to try it out.

Why does the song "His World" play back in my head whenever i watch this trailer?
...especially considering its a Sonic song.
I must be nuts.
But damn i will looking forward to this game, and KH in english 8-D
September keeps looking better and better~

Looks really good, can't wait for it to be released.

PS: Hey granville, so I hear it will come in 2 cartridges just like DQIX.

War, what do u mean by 2 cartidges? As in one cartidge to lend your friend or something like that? and thanks for the constant reminder granville, for me to get back to playing that game :X

i think two cartridges is pushing it too far... if i am not mistaken there was a piece of news saying 2 cartridges for the DQ game...
nostalgia is more of a reminder actually (that games like it really like to put amnesia as a theme)
