Gaming noob question about ds t0rrentz

hi,
i'm new in this thing, so sorry for being n00b.
i was donloading some torrents of 701-720 games, and there was plenty of seeders.
is there a chance if they are mailcious? i mean are they bricker? if there are plenty of seeders, is there chance of still being malicious? does ppl share the malicious games?
or should i ask my question this way, is there any bricker game other than that hentai homebrew and one other?

There were two brick files floating around.
They've been mostly phased out.
There is probably a .0001% chance of ever encountering any brickers.

thnx man, so why there is a cleaning tool or something that verifys ROMS on the net? that made me paranoid.

Yes, I forget the name of it.
Like I said before though, there really is no need for it.
I doubt very many of those files are still floating around on the net.
One of them was called BrickkMe.

The ROM verification tools are mostly to weed out bad dumps and incomplete files.
There is always a chance that the files will be bad in one way or another but as melloncollie said the chance is very small.
With torrents of any kind check the tracker site for a comments section. Someone will usually post if there is something wrong with the torrent.

another noob question, if a rom is a "bricker", does that mean it can brick ur ds or just not work?

It bricks your DS. If you install flashme, then you can recover it (or so i've heard).

Just to clarify that statement, you need flashme flashed onto your DS BEFORE it is bricked to be able to recover it.

it will even zip them up & rename them for you it a good tool if your planning on collecting all the Scene Releases
