Hacking noob here, can i update my cakes to play online?

I'm using cakes cfw emunand, my n3ds is 9.2 is it possible for me to update my cakes emunand to 10.5.0-30U so I can play my games online again? I followed a guide here to install cakes.

Yes, just make sure you're in emuNAND, go into system settings, go straight to the system update function (don't back out or reboot or anything else, just go straight there once you're positive you're on emuNAND), and then update that way. Or get sysupdater, the 10.5 CIAs, and install them manually with it while on emuNAND. If you're worried about it, make a backup of your emuNAND for just in case anything goes wrong.

Either use https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-emunand9tool-open-source-emunand-formatter-manager.405921/ (for 3DS directly) or https://gbatemp.net/threads/emunand-tool-release-and-support-thread.359239/ (Windows tool). If you use emunand9tool, make sure your SD card is relatively large (larger than 4GB).

One more thing, if you use emunand9tool, also make sure you're doing "Dump EmuNAND to emuNAND.bin", and not the setup or anything like that.
