What is SNES-CD? Was it a functioning game for that SNES/PS1 prototype? Because the SNES never had a CD add-on beyond that thing, even though it had an expansion slot that was never used.

The expansion slot was used for the satellite add on and a few different unofficial memory card units.

Proud to be Portuguese but I am in USA.
A SNES-CD is useless but good to see Martin is still working on his emulators project!! He usually reply the questions and answers at ngemu.com. He don't come here, thought.

I have to agree, all of his emulators are very usable and fast, and simple to run - and I fully agree with him that computers are getting more powerful but software is getting more bloated along with it, and that the file size/hardware doesn't matter.
It's always good to see emulator updates and the SNES emulator was good from the beginning and will only get better as time goes on. It's practical, seems to have a lot of debugging tools and it works.

The same as the point of any emulator; preservation. Even without any games, with emulation functionality anyone can see what it did and how it did it, as much as anyone with the real hardware could.

That's not all of their purposes, some are made just for people to play games with, others are actually trying to be accurate and preserve titles with only the original bugs...

I've tried out 0.95 version bios on a couple of emulators on the GCW Zero and they work on them, so there's some opportunity to have Nintendo Play Station capability on the Zero.

    • Nintendo DSi (or DSi XL, or 3DS) handheld console (region is don't care)
    • Nintendo DSi (or 3DS) game cartridge (region is don't care)

3ds emulator in the future maybe? (No$GBA is for gba/ds/dsi)

    why
there needs to be an update for no$gba, it doesn't run on windows 10.. but it doesn't matter to me, i find VBA-M and desmume x432R a good combo

EDIT: there must have been a secret update fairly recently, because it runs again
