Gaming No internet access - DNS not resolved error

I have a problem with my main PC. I was on the net early this morning and later when I tried to get on I get a "DNS not resolved" error. No matter what site I tried it's all the same.

I'm on my Kubuntu box right now and here I am. There is no flag in Device Manager and all devices working so I don't know what to look for. Can the Ethernet port be out and look normal? My mobo is Gigabyte AB350M-DS3H ATX AM4 with Ryzen 5 2600.

The error message is so common (and vague) that it really doesn't help pin it down.

First thing, try rebooting your computer. So many people prefer to just let it sleep or hibernate instead of proper shutdowns that when drivers start breaking, it shouldn't come as a surprise.

A couple quick things you can do from command line (Start > type "cmd" and hit enter):
ipconfig /flushdns
ping 8.8.8.8 (pings google to test connectivity)

You can also try pulling the ethernet cable out from both sides and plugging it back in.
