I'm pretty new at console repair. Done quite a few HDMI port replacements, and one shorted C216 replacement successfully.
Now I'm trying to fix a Series X with no fan spin. Everything else seems to function.
I figured out C6 was shorted on the 12v pin of the fan. I replaced it, but the fan is still not spinning.
With only the PSU connected to SB board, I get 12v at the fan connector. But when fan is plugged in, it drops down to 2v. Not sure if that's normal while not fully assembled, or where to go from here.
