This is why I play the PAL version of Luigi's Mansion. I care more about the extra content than progressive.I'm using NTSC versions simply because some PAL games that don't support progressive scan support it in their NTSC version. Most times those PAL games support it as well if forced but I'll stick with NTSC. PAL games usually have french german italian etc. languages but I don't care that much, I always play in english.
Thanks everyone for your support.
Edit: I found out the differences between PAL, NTSCU and NTSCJ versions of LM. Didn't know that. Interesting!
There's a weird minor behavior in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 that doesn't happen on emulation or real hardware. If you open the menu, the soundtrack keeps on playing, however, on a real Gamecube and on Dolphin, the music gets cut off, but in Nintendont, the music continues and it shouldn't do that. Anyone else notice this? This isn't tied to a specific version, it's been happening ever since the game had full audio.

It's because of the way Nintendon't handles streaming audio. It doesn't have an implementation for the SDK function to stop playing streaming audio so it will keep playing the file until it ends.
Is it causing an issue or just not working the way it did originally?
are you sure your ps3 controller rumbles? the first ps3 controllers didnt rumble, if it only says sixaxis on the back then it has no rumble."Rumble support with Gamecube controller and HID-USB controllers."
Hey guys, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if I forgot to tick an option, but I'm using a PS3 controller and don't get any vibrations when playing with it.
I tried on Zelda Twilight Princess (rolling against a wall) and on Smash Bros. Melee (doing anything, really). The vibrations work on my wiimote as player 2 (or even player 1 when the DS3 is unplugged), but they don't work on the PS3 controller.
I've updated Nintendon't and the Controllers.zip a few minutes ago and it still doesn't work.
Any ideas? Did I forget something?
It's not causing any real issues, I thought I'd point it out as it's not normal behavior, so I doubt it can be fixed without breaking anything else (a kind of "not worth fixing" kind of thing is all). Sorry for the trivial report, hehMy bad....
No, it could probably be fixed. I noticed a few weeks ago that the streaming audio support didn't include the stream stop support. I'll look at it, though I'm sure FIX94 is much more familiar with the code.
I mean, that'd be great, as long as it didn't break or affect any other game dependent on audio streaming, I just hope it's not too hard for it to be implementedI do admit I feel a bit silly reporting such trivialities.
Well, since we're at the point where there's really nothing major that hasn't already been reported, it isn't a bad idea to do so, especially since it sounds like it could likely be fixed in pretty short order![]()
