Tiny update:
Fixed text overlap when online updater fails to retrieve version
This should not affect the online update itself, so might not fix failed download for users with such issue
P.S> I still don't know why the online update works for some users but not for others, though firewalls or slow server might cause such issue

Yes I'm able to download and apply themes okay.

Trying to download newest version just gives "Failed to retrieve version".

yes same for me i can download themes but not updates, the last line of text is on top of another line of text so i cant tell you what is says but i can update manually which is no trouble. I love this mod im not sure why people are asking for a wishlist even though its an open source mod i think tackling these will take away from the mod its best to ask the people who work officially on nintendont and let abs update the dols i love this theme mod

face it abdalahterro, the autoupdate feature is broken xD
It's not user fault, maybe there's another way to download the update from the server?
CFGUsbLoader updates fine using the internal update feature (the chinese mod). Never fail.

Yes, can download custom game themes. I'll try tethering to my phone's wifi to see if it makes any difference.

crap i wish i didnt update yesterday or i would test for you since nobody is responding im sure someone will try though

I think I found out what's wrong...
Can you check the online update feature now please.
It still doesn't work.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I decided to download an older version and it worked just fine. I then tried to update to the latest again and it didn't work.

I just updated to the most recent manually and tried to update internally. It said "Failed to retrieve download," then "Canceling Update." Or something along those lines. :D
That's how it's supposed to be, right?

yeah it's "Failed to retrieve version" meaning an error while downloading the NintendontVersion.h file or when comparing the current version to the one on the server

I can make a workaround, making the mod check for the official version file URL but I really can't see why this is happening to some users only

OK, I moved the version file to my dropbox account, and I tested the new file and still works fine.

So you can update manually first, then try the online update
if it works for you I'll keep it this way from now on

I'm so sorry for the late reply. I updated manually again then proceeded to update internally and it said I already had the latest version then asked if I would like to download anyway, so everything seems to be in working order again. Thank you.
