Hacking Nintendont issue, please help!

I put nintendont on my wii u and i have a bunch of gamecube games on there as well, the only problem is that sometimes ill be playing a game and all of a sudden it will freeze! its very annoying because its happened on every game ive tried now. could someone please give me a fix for this?

also, i use a 2GB sd card, and a 232GB usb for the games.

Does it freeze always at the same time (like every 17 minutes) or does it freeze randomly at different times. Maybe your hardrive is falling asleep try disabling the sleep mode on it. Also try to run a game off your sd card if it works fine you know its a problem with your hdd and make sure your using the latest version of nintendont. I assume your using a Wii U if thats the case you need a hdd with its own power supply or a usb y cable for a portable hdd for it to work correctly. EDIT= I like your location by the way.

oregon? awesome but ive used this exact same hard drive when i was on my modded regular wii, and the hdd also worked when i used it for wii games on the wii u. and i dont have enough memory on my sd card to put games on it :/
