Hacking Nintendont - Gamecube controller

With the release of the gamecube controller adapter coming soon, does it seem plausible that Nintendont might add support for gamecube controllers once it comes out with Smash Bros?

We would know once it is released and tested. If we got lucky and use HID interface, then there are plausible chances to get it compatible with nintendont

I just feel we won't be lucky as Nintendo won't want to pay the 15 cents or whatever it will take to make it HID compliant.

If it is HID it will be great as Nintendont, Devo, and PC could all easily support it. Nintendo said they plan extensive support for it so I wonder what that means and if it includes any support for vWii.
