Hacking Nintendont error when using WiiVC

Each time I launch Nintendont using the Wii U menu (installed as a Wii VC title), when I click on 'USB' it says that FAT32 USB is not found.
Weird because when I launched it using vWii homebrew it loaded the USB perfectly.
Are there any ways to fix this? I've gone through the tutorial many times and I haven't found the fix yet.

My USB drive is FAT32, primary partition, MBR and the games are in the correct folders. (games/Super Mario Sunshine [forgotthegameidxd]/game.iso

You can't use USB.

It's been said several times if you actually bothered to search. You have to load from SD.

then get some person to remove it from the official thread, its misleading.
besides - I did do research and obviously didnt come out with anything meaningful, i've been at it for about 2 hours now.

There is a post on the most recent (as of writing) page of the nintendont thread saying as much, would have taken you 30 seconds to check is all I'm saying
