Would it be probable to think that Nintendo would devise a plan to have Switches ship to a branch and get a upgrade for the new X2 for a small price 50-100, like how Apple changed iPhone batteries to brand new ones for a reasonable price?

If you mean sending your switch into Nintendo so they can change your X1 into an X2, then no

Nintendo sees itself as more of a toy company rather than a technology company like Sony, so this is very unlikely.

You might see a mid-gen specs upgrade, but it will be as a new SKU, and likely won't feature a new SOC (maybe a clk/ram increase at best).

I don't think nintendo would make an improved console so soon, but Tegra X2 is not that much of a big upgrade...

If they ever do it, I wish they would go with something like Tegra Volta based, now this would be a HUGE boost, however I don't even think Nvidia will do a very low power version of it so nintendo would never pay for a fully custom one either :(.
