Hardware Nintendo Switch Fan Replacement Inquiry

So I wanted to get a Game working so I could Backup the Save, and noticed the Fan making some noise. Now I know Thermal Pads or Thermal Paste is only good for a certain amount of time, so I am curious about what to do........

---- Or should I also get a Heatsink Assembly as well?

Thermal Pad or Thermal Paste a option? Or is it just Thermal Paste alone? Want to make sure I can dissipate the Heat as much as I can.

Use thermal quality paste


normally the fan requires maintenance only but if it is damaged you can change only three fan.

No thermal pads are needed some people uses thermal pads for the memory chips but that is overkill and unneeded

Some other guys are using "magical" thermal pad instead of thermal paste but I do prefer thermal paste of quality and well applied

Good to know . I got Kryonaut Thermal Paste. Hope that will do. Next up......my Laptop. Left Fan (CPU) is making a noise after a while, or when it is under a heavy Load. Only problem is, I have to disassemble a LOT, and not only will I need Paste, but I will also need Pads for it. Just not sure which Size I will need, because I got incorrect Sizes from MSI.
