Homebrew nintendo repair question

the mic on my 3ds is no longer working so it looks like im gonna have to send it in for repair but i also don;t want them to find my homebrew stuff how would i get rid of homebrew so i could safely send it for repair?

Is replacing the mic yourself an option? The part is cheap - a lot cheaper than sending the thing to Nintendo. Plus the mic is relatively easy to replace.

Uninstalling cfw is almost every time a bad idea. Consider this as your last option.
