Hardware Nintendo eShop 007-2401 Error

Since a day i get this code when i wanna access the eShop.
i Formated my ds changed region but nothing happen.
Online play stil works etc but i cant access the damn eShop
how i gonna get the free 20 games ever now!

ok i called nintendo and they said alot of ppl got this problem (i dindt see one)
they say there busy with the eShop lately
i need to wait till friday

If you got a club nintendo account, you better register your 3DS. Otherwise you don't got any proof if you have to call nintendo that you own one before the AUG 12 deadline and don't get registered for the ambasador program.

If you've ever accessed e-shop before, you'll get it even if you cant access it right now.

You said you've owned your 3DS for 2 months? Did you ever access the e-shop during any of that time?

yea i did i downloaded pokedex 3D and the 3D classic game

You should have just taken back to where you got it and got an exchange for a different one, but it is past the ambassador cutoff date. So your likely not defined as part of the program by nintendo's system.

well i called nintendo today and i gonna send it to repair but i keep the serial number i will take a pic of it to make sure they wont send some other 3DS

Make a picture of your receipt too (for date bought), so you have prove you should get those games. I think your current serial won't do much good if they gave another...

(I actually wanted to say make a photo/picture of your eShop receipts (eg: Poke3D, NinVid) for a sec, since those have dates to when you certainly and without doubt accessed the eShop. >_< Good advice for others in case they ever run into hardware troubles though.)
