Nah, they've already done that, they'll want to surprise us. My guess is it will be 8-bit 2D in black and white, but boss battles will be in the fourth dimension. You wait and see.

Here are some realistic expectations:
- New Zelda premieres with a three minute trailer (no playable demo). The game is done in a watercolor style somewhat similar to Okami. Announced to come out this winter, but is mysteriously delayed a month later.
- 3DS system is shown, graphical capabilities are far below expectations.
- The majority of 3DS games available at launch are backwards compatible with the DS.
- Retro unveils new joint project with Nintendo EAD (new IP, not existing IP).
- Kirby Wii is shown for the first time.
- Several upcoming Japanese Wii games such as Xenoblade are not shown, causing many to worry that they will not be localized.
- There are practically no new games shown from third parties, although we get some rushed 3DS prototypes from companies like EA and Ubisoft.
- The Vitality Sensor is demoed for 10 minutes by Cammie and Reggie, where it does its job a little too well (half of the audience falls asleep).

I guarantee that at least half of these predictions will come true.

Only uses for vitality sensor i see are for exercise games, horror games, or possibly wii sports like games.

Here's my list of more realistic expectations, while not trying to sound disillusioned or bitter.

- 3DS getting some major love: Specs, some launch titles, oh, and a name....
Also talk about/hint at more interoperability with their home offerings which will only be done half-assed until the next home console....
- Very little on Black & White: Other channels to release all that info....
- Hands-on Metroid: Other M
- Lots of cinema for Zelda Wii, and a name too.....
The cinema will look great, but people will be worried there will be too much cinema and not enough game, like the "quality" or "hardcore" game offerings of other companies...
- The new Wiimote with Motion Plus built in
- No more than two reveals of old franchise updates (Kirby, Icarus, Star Fox)
- No sequels to current gen (NSMBWii, MKWii) though maybe a port of SSB to 3DS (or DSi)
- Nintendo will unveil the Vitality Sensor, which will (surprisingly) get rave reviews from Media and some cool stuff from Nintendo, but no good support from 3rd party, and everyone will still blame Nintendo for a "failed product".
- In a press conference or speech someone will either ask or Nintendo will just volunteer that the rumor of Blu-Ray in their next-gen offering being a complete lie, and that they aren't even working on it yet, which will be the truest lie.

So that's what I am expecting. Oh, and Sony and Microsoft bitter over Move and Natal getting stealing the show.

Sorry to get your hopes up, but Nintendo has said repeatedly that WiiHD is NOT in the works at all. end of.

Mario Kart follows a rule of 1 game per console, so I doubt we'll see Mario Kart 2 on either system.



That being said, I would love to see more of Metroid: The other M, The new Wii zelda game (I really hope it's like Wind Waker. that was awesome)

What else I would love to see is Wireless classic controllers. I would also like to see more Wii Motion Plus games announced.

well nintendo has been broken this rule recently =) with mario galaxy 2 (mario 64 -> mario sunshine 1 per console)
and pokemon on the DS they'll have 2 new generations in one console (4th & 5th)

but i don't think we'll see mario kart for DS or Wii but maybe on 3DS??

My predictions:
-Zelda Wii
-Pikmin 3
-Wii Party
-A Wii music/rythm game from nintendo
-Vitality Sensor (maybe used in zelda but not necesary)
-Wii Controller with motion plus integrated
-New wii colours
-More "Expanded Audience" games (brain training, wii fit, etc...)
-Very little info bout Pkmn Black & White
-3DS FTW!
-And an E3 without mario would be very sad so a new mario game 3DS maybe?

-Luigi Mansion Wii
-Star Fox Wii
-Metroid 3DS
-Zelda 3DS
-AC 3DS
-New IP (like pikmin of this generation...)

I think the Wii Vitality Sensor Support could be used in FPS games. Like when your hurt and you are in a panic you just die by blood loss

and could help on the sniping also.

I disagree. Jump Ultimate Stars did an awesome job of a Smash Bros type game. I think a 2d Smash Bros. game would do quite well.

And SB for DS is a REALLY small chance.
Either for Starfox is small, but wouldn't be impossible.
