Nintendo DSi XL orange flashing light / not charging

Hi everyone! Bought a DSi XL knowing it had this fault but still wanted to try and fix it. You have any idea on where should I start? I know the charger is genuine and works, I know the battery works too as I used a tester, but when I plug the dsi in it either doesn't charge or, if I move the cable around in a specific angle / way, it flashes orange, like a LOT, and doesn't charge.

So, have you encountered this issue before? Thanks for your time

Oh yeah, I also cleaned contacts + charging port, should I just try and bridge the F2 fuse since it's known to fail?

i had the same issue with my dsl bridging f2 fixed the issue for me

Same here with my 7 year old Nintendo dsi. I got a new battery and tested it and it still flashes the orange light. I don't know what to do
