Well after hearing all about what this bad boy can do, and seeing the sexy screenshots of it, I just had to come here and vent.

You see, I am blind in my left eye, and as such I can not use the 3D aspect of the 3DS. So I curse you Nintendo for dangling this wonderful treat in my face only to pull it away at the last second.

Don't get me wrong though, I will still get a 3DS for that wonderful analog stick and the higher quality screens, just no 3D function for me

Aw, sorry to hear!

You could always get a PSP2... They are touch screen, has amazing graphics and games etc.
My combo would be a PSP2 and a Wii, OR a 3DS and a PS3 XD

Except we still have no idea how much the NGP will cost... $250USD for a handhold isn't too terrible, but the crap they are shoving into the NGP means it'll either be A: Much more expensive, or B: will likely have a subsidized price, forcing people to pay a monthly data line fee for a cheaper console.

Well it's not like you can't play all the amazing games in 2D, mate. And you'll get better fps and graphical effects to boot.

Fps would you even tell the difference while playing? How would the graphical effects be better?

Plus Fps change was only confirm for one game right?

Personally , I am really mad at Nintendo for releasing the Game Boy Color.
In case you didn't know:
  • 1 in 12 people have some sort of color deficiency. About 8% of men and 0.4% of women in the US.
  • 0.38% of women are deuteranomalous (around 95% of all color deficient women).
  • 0.005% of the population are totally colour blind.
  • 0.003% of the population have tritanopia.
  • Protanomaly occurs in about 1% of males.
  • Deuteranomaly occurs in about 5% of males. It's the most common color deficiency.
  • Protanopia occurs in about 1% of males.
  • Deuteranopia occurs in about 1% of males.

Aw man! You are just like my youngest brother! Blind in his left Eye! And I guess I'm not supposed to even be able to see 3-D thanks to a eye condition then surgery I had when I was a kid! I really Hope I can truly see the 3-D though my youngest brother was quite happy to hear that you can turn off the 3-D.

....What was I doing again?

Well, for example, Resident Evil (Both Games) adds motion blur and anti-aliasing, of course, the 3D effect is supposed to have natural anti-aliasing, so the last effect isn't much, but still, for some the motion blur might be enough for some people to turn off 3D.

Of course, all of these things are just for Resident Evil.

I will still enjoy the amazing library just only in 2D, so its alright. At least I can still play the games. Just gotta roll with the punches, ya know.

I remember when I first heard about the 3DS, I was like:

"Oh my god that sounds awesome......wait a second....SON OF A BITCH"

but like I said, I wil still be able to take advantage of the sweet titles on the 3DS, Can't wait for Star Fox 3DS and Resident Evi

(I am also hoping for a 2D Metroid and a new Ninja Gaiden)
