has this in it IMPORTANT: it is NOT possible to install CIA files above system menu version 9.2! That also includes all ninjhax2/tubehax/ironhax users. STELL wen you can use this http://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-install-legit-cia-files-above-9-3.407854/ to do it anywhays some one neads to change that

Above 9.2 you can only install legal cia files and there are only about 7 or 8 legal cia files in existence so 9.2 and above are still missing out on installing 99.99% of cia files so no change needed

I agree the heading should be changed. And even if you can only run unsigned cia's on <=9.2, the fact is unsigned cia installation is accessible to all 3ds's at this point.

But unsigned cia files are only available to those who downgrade to 9.2 or less and once 10.4 update is out it won't be available to all again as you will be unable to downgrade

People on 10.3 and below need to know they can install cia's, period. The "screw-off if you don't have 9.2" is a lie now.

No, you can downgrade to 9.2 and get the rest. From 10.3. That current message gives the false impression that all hope is lost post 9.2. It doesn't tell the whole story. Lying through omission.

Isn't it deceptive to say you can't run cia's above 9.2 when not only can you run certain ones on 10.3, but you can get the rest too by downgrading? Focus on what's useful info for the user rather than semantic correctness.

True but if you are above 9.2 then there is no point in not being on latest update ie 10.3 so you can get your updates from the eshop. People only stayed on low firmwares waiting for a way to downgrade to 9.2 which we now have

you just made my very point the fact is to install most cia files people will have to downgrade so it's not available to all as you need to downgrade plus like I said 10.4 will stop cia installs and downgrading so again it Will not be available to all.

It's well worth the very little effort to downgrade and have access to every cia available in my opinion.

I have a system that's still on 10.3 and i don't want to downgrade it.
All my eShop stuff i buy is on this console, i was lucky to be in the ambassador program so all those games are also there and i like to play online and have access to the eShop, without worrying.
Most games that are legit cia's, i have, but i like to have them on my system, so it's nice we can install those few legit cia's in the eShop and have them updated and playable online without problems
on a 10.3/10.4+ system, cause once those legit cia's are installed, you can wipe them and redownload them, nothing Nintendo can do about those, you have a valid ticket for those once installed.
So if you want them, you have to install them now on your 10.3 cause once on 10.4 you won't be able to do so.

Nintendo can't know if you bought various pre-installed bundles and system transffered them one by one to your newest system, leaving you with all the games legally (costly if you want to do that )
(yes you can do that! the only catch with those legit installed cia's, legit cia's installed you can't system transffer! why? nobody figured that out yet, but many ppl have tested it out in the past (i to))
