Hacking Nintendo 2DS Hack?

Hey guys,

I tried to search around for information how to hack Nintendo 2DS, but I get zero results. Either I must be blind, or It doesn't exist.

Anyway, I see lots of 3DS hacking threads, but I see no 2DS. Does the 2DS have same system as the 3DS to hack?

The second question is what is the best flashcart for Nintendo 2DS for this moment? I remember Acekard was the big thing back when Nintendo DS came out, but right now, I have not been at the Nintendo scenes for very very long time! Maybe it is Acekard for 3DS/2DS today as well?

The hacks are based on firmware, and not system type. The 2DS wasn't released with the hackable firmware, thus there are no hacks for playing 3DS games. You can still play DS games on a flashcart, and the best choice for that is the SuperCard DSTWO.

That depends on what you want to do with your DS. You can play retail cartridges on the 2DS, too soo...

The whole point I bought the machine is actually to play hacking 3DS games, but yes I guess in time, someone will release the hacking for 2DS, but for now, it seems it's better to invest the 3DS, yes?

If you want it for that purpose, you'll need to find a 3DS or XL that's on firmware version 4.5 or lower. There's no hack yet for anything higher, but when there is it'll very likely work on both 3DS and 2DS.

I can't help feeling like the last gen scene spoiled people a little bit, and now they seem to think that developers have no life outside console hacking and that if they don't have weekly releases of something cool and interesting they're obviously bullshitting.
