Gaming News: Flipnote Studio 3D, Is it dead or alive?

Recently last year Flipnote Studio 3D was announced to be released in mid August. About 4 weeks later it was posted as TBD (To be delayed), now it has remained this way for a year, and still no sign of it. Recently the games for E3 2015 were shown on their site Link: http://www.nintendo.com/games/game-guide/#filter/3ds|-|-|-|-|ascend|title|-|-|-|-
Nintendo may have removed the game from the coming soon line up :'(
So if you can't find it don't blame me! But, through official evidence i have discovered, the Software will be introduced in real life at E3 2015! Now this is probably very exciting, but Nintendo is being a little fishy about this release. But i'm just glad that its coming...Just have to wait 1 more year T_T. So Flipnote Studio 3D IS ALIVE!!..Sorta.

They'll never say it, at least not anytime soon, but they've quietly cancelled its release at the same point that they stopped supporting Swap Note due to the few bad apples "after an incident in Japan where minors were sharing Friend Codes with strangers who had exploited the messaging service to allegedly exchange pornographic imagery." Its so stupid 99% of people were using the service responsibly, but a couple of assholes had to go and ruin it for everyone.

i have this app on my japanese console and after playing with it for a long while i'm still trying to understand what is the fuss all about...

We're probably about half-way through the 3DS's life span right about now. Assuming that Flipnote 3D does come eventually, it's too little, too late. When the next Nintendo handheld surfaces it'll be impossible to transfer it to the new console just like the DSi version.
