Hey guys, I'm very sorry if this is the wrong section and all.

So the situation is that I preordered Bravely Second, and I wish to play my game uncensored. I am wondering if it is possible to patch over the official game card itself?

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, I've got no experience here but would love to learn more about this stuff. Thank you.

Isn't the whole point of HANS to allow you to use rom hacks with official software? True, ROMs are read only, but the data loaded into ram isnt. Why couldn't he just find an uncensored romfs and use HANS?

ROM = READ ONLY MEMORY
YOU HAVE TO HAVE HANS TO PATCH IT OR A PREPATCHED ROM.

If you have CFW just get a Patched CIA and Install. Or Else just Use the Legit Cart to finish the game first then use a patched ROM converted to CIA.
