I heard about zelda i can do that but others say the homebrew channel is better so what i need too do
I want to use mplayer for wii and backup launcher .
Some help please.

The homebrew channel rocks, but you can't use it without the Twilight Hack

I suggest buying Zelda: Twilight Princess, installing the Twilight Hack, installing the Homebrew Channel and copying the homebrew you want to use to the SD-card so you can launch it using the Homebrew Channel.

Never! Just rent it.

Or just borrow Zelda TP from someone else.
Oh, if your wii isn't updated to 3.3 yet, leave it on 3.2.
Then, you will be able to install homebrew such as Starfall (or something:P)

Can't you down grade your Wii to 3.2?

I'm kinda scared of (semi)bricking it, since I can't find a good instruction guide of the AnyRegionChanger...

So mine is also on 3.3.

Btw, Sarvesh, I'll pm you for the borrowing

Yeah you can downgrade but theres always a risk of bricking when doing that.

I have instructions for the twilight hack and also the iso loader in my sig.
Someone said that the mplayer and iso loader arent compatible , other say they are - i havent tried both myself.

Yes you can downgrade, but you need wifi.

All the help you need is here in the forums. Instead of being like every other newbie to wii hacking that posts a new thread asking for help, look directly above, the stickies with all the info you need are there, and below in the forum with all the threads you need. There is a search function, you should use it.

Sorry to be an ass but do some research first before filling the forum with another repeated and un-needed thread

also, there are no reports at all of anyone ever bricking from a straight downgrade.
if it happened to you, it would mean something was already wrong with your wii.

using anyregion changer 1.1,
you can easily downgrade, just by selecting your correct menu region,
and hitting "Go!" I believe it says next to "install system menu 3.2"

you risk bricking if you mess with the region changing settings and don't know what you are doing,
so just don't mess with them.

i did look for the zelda tp i do understand that but not that homebrew channel.

Your best bet is to download the .zip file from DJTaz's signature. Its the easiest tutorial to follow, and includes all the files you'll need to do the twilight hack, and install the Homebrew Channel, and also the Backup Launcher if you desire that also.

Bump for what? everyone already told you what to do:

BUY/RENT ZELDA: TWILIGHT PRINCESS
INSERT SAVE HACK INTO SYSTEM
GRAB WAD INSTALLER + WAD OF HOMEBREW CHANNEL

there... everyone said this before. dont bump this without a question or whatever. Dont understand it? Afraid of bricking it?

DONT DO IT THEN

the end.
