Hacking new to vita need help with update

vita madden 13 backup how to install update file the update file downloads but cant figure out how to install

Do not update your backups that you have installed from the live area. You have to find the dump of the update and Install either via Mai or as vpk or just overwrite the files in the ux0/app folder (depending on how the update was dumped)

U need to INstall mai dump Tool put the dlc in urx/mai and intall It using the maidump tool...

ok im confused sorry i have the downloaded update file from psn its 60mb now i realize it wont let me install it the normal way. So do i dump the update somehow which i dont know how never did. FYI I have installed downloaded dumped updates before but cant find this one i need. Thanks for help!

Don't use the official psn update if it's a bootleg game... I've heard that will stop the copied game from working

Yeah. You have to find the update that someone who owns a legit copy has dumped. It's most likely available on that subreddit.
