Hacking New to 3DS hacking.

Hi there,

I am very very new to hacking any console, last time I did so was for the wii. I was hoping to hack my 2ds but I am currently on 11.5, do I have any chance at all at getting the homebrew thing on my current update without a hard mod ?

As of now, no. =>11.4 is not currently hack able without a hardmod.
Hard modding a 2DS is not that hard and a fun weekend project.
You could wait until a new exploit is released but that might take some time.

As SirECK said, as of now you can't hack without hardmod. Hardmodding is not really that hard as long as you have experience soldering. Here is a guide that I believe will still work (NOT CONFIRMED BY ME, SEEMS SAFE, BUT SEARCH AROUND!). Some people also offer hardmodding services at reasonable prices (I HAVE NOT HAD MY 3ds/2ds BY THIS USER, BE SURE YOU'RE OK WITH SENDING YOUR 3ds/2ds TO SOMEONE!). still, 3ds.guide is a good place to check what versions are moddable

There are three ways to install CFW on 11.5:

• Hardmod method (requires soldering)
• DSiWare method (requires a second 3DS that already has CFW)
• ntrboothax method (not released yet)

As of this post, there are no other methods.
