Oh crap lol, my badd. It was a leftover folder from when I used the same SD card with my ED GBA, but I since switched over to the EzFlash Omega. Sorry bout that.

I am a bit confused on which file to download though. There's a 3.42 file and then a 1.6 file further down that says it's an update? Which is the newest version & which should I use?

Also, what do the Use BIOS Intro & Backup Saves options do?

Lastly, Emulator settings don't seem to be saving between sessions. They used to save if I remember correctly. Am using a GBA Consolizer so auto sleep would be detrimental, need to make sure that is turned off each time. I thought these settings automatically saved when exiting usually?

I'm also working on a grey theme that's flat with no real wallpapers. And on top of that, I've fixed about 90% of the broken Chingrish and stopped the text from breaking mid-word. It's basically done, I just need to finish some error codes before I release it.

Hey, brother, my English is very poor. I use machine translation. Look, this is the skin of EZ flash IV. there are too many words in ezomega, which is not suitable for skin. I hope ezomega operating system can have the same desktop as EZ flash IV. maybe you can help me. If you can help me, we can exchange email and have a detailed conversation. And then I'm really excited now

1. Download the one with the higher number.

2. The use BIOS intro option will restart the Game Boy, playing the boot animation, when starting a game. The backup saves feature will create copies if your saves in the event of corruption.

3. Emulator settings aren't saved because having them save is a little risky on the base EZ-Flash Omega. It can cause SD corruption because of its poor saving method.

If you want to make a skin like this, you'll have to do it yourself. The source code and data files are freely available.

Ah ok, thanks for the help! That's a shame about the Emulator settings. Wish there was a fix for that in the works. Would be very nice to have those settings automatically save upon exit.

@Sterophonick and @EZ-Flash2

I try custom hack "Pokemon The Last Fire Red" but it freezes when I start the battle, any idea to fix this issue ?

I noticed on GBC roms, this new custom fw don't set anymore the skin on emulator. It's cool feature.

That seems to be an issue with the hack. Try it in an emulator.

Hi, relatively new user here, and sorry if anyone has asked about this before and I just didn't see the answer.

So, I've got an SD card with a bunch of roms and folders on it, and they show up on PC fine, but when I put them into the EZ Flash, a couple of the folders aren't visible (though most are). Are there any characters or limitations I should be aware of to avoid in filenames/foldernames to prevent this? I definitely have the theme installed properly, as everything loads up fine in that regard, and I don't seem to be having a data corruption issue since I can still view the files on PC (and everything else including saves and cheats works fine). I have deleted the folders and re-copied them in multiple locations and had the same result, hence me thinking it's an issue with filenames.

Addendum: It's SG and ZX rom folders that I'm having issues with, in case that's any sort of relevant

Not entirely sure. Try reformatting the card as FAT32 and try again.

Alright, just figured it out by drawing on info from another thread. Apparently it's an issue with the EZ Flash in general that has to do with file attributes for read-only and archiving. Thanks though!

Love the theme! I've been using it for ages and refuse to use the original stock. Just wondering are you going to update the og Omega one for K1.07 F7.0? Or do I just update with stock and then update your theme on top?

FW 7 is already installed.

Is there a version for Omega DE?

yes

made an account just to ask this, who do i need to "donate" to to actually have a cheat engine that works and supports gameshark, action replay stuff like that, like i get the kernel is open sourced but i simply don't have that knowledge so im willing to "donate" if that's what it takes to get someone the motivation to actually make it better, i have already payed 70 bucks for de version and its just mind blowing at how little community development im seeing compared to flashcarts for ds and stuff, can we really only use goomba color for gbc? is there not any possible other option? I'm serious about "donating". hell if even to get a new gbaatm that actually works would be nice,

Goomba will always be the only option no matter how much u donate

Goomba needs to huge overhaul for compatiblity... that'll likely never happen.

I'd rather see a something like EZFlash Jr Definitive Edition, that adds rumble support and at least everything Everdrive X7 already has.

Oh, no what I mean is I have your latest version (I think) which is v3.43 which is currently on Kernel 1.06 FW 7 but there's been a recent update to the Kernel on omegaflash.cn for the OG omega which is now at Kernel 1.07 FW 7. Apparently it updates the goomba emulator and fixes a save feature.

I don't think updating is necessary in this case, as it literally uses the modifications of Goomba Color that Veikkos created that are present in my kernel. I kinda don't agree with my name being attached to it since I didn't even make those changes, but I digress.

Anyways, that's all K1.07 does. Nothing to see there.
