part of the fun of a new pokemon game is discovering awesome ones you haven't ever seen before.

Long as there useful and not just thrown in there for the heck of it,usually more pokemon means more pointless evolutions,how bout some new pokemon that are useful battle and stats wise and not looking like they were drawn by 5 year olds.....

But no, seriously, the game would be even more boring if there were around 20 "good" Pokemon to catch. I mean, 20 total, not that there were actually 20 good ones out of however many. =P

Get out of my head!!!! LOL I was just thinking how a turn-based Pokemon RPG would be.....what your suggesting is pretty much Dragon Quest,I was thinking more of a Final Fantasy with pokemon,maybe equipable items(like berrys and such) maybe even armour.....sounds like a good thing to try we can't keep having the same catch and gym battles all the time.....

About Final Fantasy/Pokemon kinda game.. there is already one well two.. Just take pokemon and make them evil looking monsters .. its Jade Cocoon 1 & 2 for the ps1 and ps2.. man wish the remake that or new series for the nds.. but that never going happen.. T_T

Oh dear Lord NO.

The TV 'series' is absolutely horrible. I can't believe people are still watching that show.

After 400+ episodes, and over 9000 minor characters that never appear ever again, and protagonists that don't age after 10 years and still sound horrible, if not worse.


...If they're going to make a game about other Pokemon media, I suggest the Pokemon Adventures/Pokemon SPECIAL manga.

At least it has a plot, and is actually worth reading because of the great storyline.

What would really be awesome if you could take a friend on with you thru a journey and if you choose you can leave on your own,so basically say your friends wants to train up his pokemon he can go off and do that on his own while you maybe wanted to breed some pokemon..... etc etc

That was another thing I was thinking another mode were you can actually become gym leaders or something.....tho thats wishful thinking,only way we get something like that or my earlier suggesting (questing with a friend) if a fan makes an online game with it.....

I expect it to be the standard third edition as they did in the past,which means minor updates and maybe thrown in some extra legends maybe pakia will be available in this version just as groundon and kyogre were offered together in emerald....

Ever since Pokemon Red I've thought it was kind of dumb that you become the Champion, but then you just wander off or whatever. I always wanted to stick around and defend my title.

I've always been thinking about the Gym Leaders......

How do they change the Gym Leaders? They are there to lose (especially the first gym, destined to lose to every trainer.....) every trainer can replace them, yet they are there as checkpoints, being a gym leader is not a good thing IMO, your destiny is sealed, you gotta lose to a kid......

The same goes to Elite Four.... who replace them and how?........

I'd like to defend my title too, yeah

but that might mean years waiting in your chamber for someone to challenge you
