Based on the prevalence of fake batteries, I doubt that battery is very good. For $7 there's a good chance you're getting something with far less juice than the 1200mAh it's supposedly rated for. Batteries are the one thing I would either go to Sony for, or at least pick up from a real retailer.

To add to ViRGE's comment: Third party batteries are sometimes hit and miss. There have been a LOT of reports of overheating and even fires caused by knockoff batteries in everything from cell phones to PDAs to handheld video game consoles. I would try to avoid a knockoff battery and spring for a legit one.
