Hacking New New Nintendo 3DS problem, need help urgently.

Put the sd card back in the 3ds once it's on, go to the theme menu and change theme and then put it back to default, try to launch browserhax and reinstall menuhax through that, launch menuhax, in the Homebrew menu select the downloader and launch it, it should downgrade what isn't downgraded already...^^

it worked without the sd card!! now what?

A word of advice, do not take it the wrong way but, by the looks of your many exclamation & question marks, I can tell you're impatience can even lead to bricking your 3DS. Take it slow and follow the advice the tempers are giving. Again, I'm only saying this so you can avoid a brick.

@richardparker You have a frankenfirmware, and you need to run the downgrader again. Like everyone else said, take out the SD, turn on the system, put it back in, change your theme to "No Theme" even if it already is, then use browserhax to set up menuhax and attempt to downgrade to 9.2 again. I also emphasize that you'll have no problems installing A9LH if you manage to get to 9.2 successfully.

Try to get back into homebrew. Also, guys should they format here or not?

If he made it to 9.2, there's no need to format anymore, but he will have to redowngrade to fix his frankenfirmware.

Also, @richardparker, please always refer to the troubleshooting page of the guide before panicking. It already covers most of (if not all) the main issues you can run into. Lucky for you, @Amapola62 suggested the SD card thing before you updated.

I feel like I was very explicit in saying he should be able to read and follow instructions before I recommended he go ahead >.<

A9LH took me a few days to install, and I already helped someone install theirs.

@richardparker , in installing A9LH, there are a few "save points", where you can rest easy and continue it tomorrow. Assuming that you have a computer nearby opened to Plailect's guide, bookmark it in where you could stop, like needing to go to redNAND by turning on the 3DS, entering hax entry, and opening Luma.

And patience, you don't have to get A9LH but if you want, caution is needed.

well it worked after 9 tries.
but,a new problem has come up- the 3ds is not moving ahead of theblue light on boot, hbl is not working tho the emunand9 and hourgless9 are.

Make sure that you have a arm9loaderhax.bin file in the root of your sd card.

well,so now evrything is working just fin and i hve installed a9lh. no,i know that this isnt supposed to be here, but, ntr cfw is not working,- i get some lenghty dumps and it ends ith the message that firmare vrsion not supported. i have ntr bin on the root and firmware bin in the luma folder.

Which version of NTR are you using? I think only the latest one works (either the shadowtrance fork or the official one). And was your firmware.bin there originally, or did you get it from the tutorial?

EDIT: And what version of Luma?
