does make you wonder why out of all the Roger Moore Bond films they went with Moonraker when the likes of For Your Eyes Only was much better but i guess you gotta have Jaws somewhere

Watching a new Bond trailer and an old Bond movie on the same day, interesting. I just watched A View To A Kill tonight. Pretty good Bond movie, though.

well it gets better after watching Bond surf to california girls

Well maybe. The most amusing scene to me is when Bond have sex with May Day, it looks like two men are raping each other.

ah yes...one of the most awkard "sex" scenes in the whole Bond franchise, although i found the car chase with the cops more amusing for all the wrong reasons

Meh, the trailer for the film is hardly amazing. It was OK, and I'm sure it'll be a great film as long as it's not like Quantum of Solace which I personally did not enjoy watching. Casino Royale was a brilliant film though.

Although I did not necessarily agree with the assessment couldn't they have continued to rip off the Bourne films rather than moving onto the nonsense that is modern Mission Impossible (running, floating and cinematography).
In fact

It should not be so fitting.
This being said I think I will probably be poking my head around the door of the cinema for the first time in years none the less.

Game did not look too bad though. I really should play some of the more recent ones one day.

Game looks cool and its by Eurocom and for me they have so far done the best Bond game with GoldenEye Wii (never thought the 64 game was all that great aside from multiplayer but I can see its charm). I have to say it looks like a higher res Wii title though. I was hoping Activision would give them more time and cash to make something better but Eurocom have done well with limitations, just look at Dead Space Extraction & GoldenEye Wii.

Bond games have actually been fairly good, Agent Under Fire & Nightfire were nice enough, The World Is Not Enough was serviceable and From Russia With Love was a different style and worked. Quantum of Solace was just a run of the mill shooter but it beats most movie games. Not played Bloodstone but the DS game was decent.

Film...meh.

I'm a gigantic Bond nut and this looks rather good. Plus I've heard they're bringing back Q (which means gadgets finally make a return) and there's a new director on board. Either way, it should be good and I'll probably see it opening weekend, if not opening night.

007 Legends looks good to but it still looks like it's running the same engine as the Goldeneye game but with HD porting. Kinda wished they worked around it a bit more so it looked a lot more impressive. Still, the weapons look like a lot of fun and it should be as good as Goldeneye, if not better.

Although why focus on Moonraker? No one liked Moonraker. It was a cheesy space movie they pushed out with the Star Wars craze. It's not even a Fleming novel, and they still had other Fleming novels to make a movie out of at the time. I know that Nightfire had some Moonraker vibes with the final mission and everything but the movie is something better left forgotten.

Each month they're releasing a trailer on each of the "Legends" episodes. So I'm guessing they're starting with the "lesser" of them, which to me while not a great Bond movie it could still give some good and different gameplay styles to the genre.

it was actually Flemings third Bond novel, just that the plot focused on Drax launching a nuclear missle on London. As for the other Fleming novels, by Moonraker all they had was short stories left by Fleming which just used the titles more than anything, as far as Casino Royale was concerned, MGM was lucky they had something to trade with Sony to get the rights to make it
