Hacking New Firmware 3DS/Acekard 2i

Can I update to the new firmware and my acekard will still work?

1.4.2 is for dsi(XL), which the updater for ak 2i is supposed to come soon (the acekard team is most likely going to release it with the new 3ds firmware update if it, indeed, blocks the acekard 2i).

My guess is the cart still works, and if it doesn't the AK team will most likely fix that before they release the 3DS bypass v2.
