Hacking New exploit game for 3.55 - get it now while you can!

The game is Mimana Iyar Chronicle. I've not tried this because I'm happily on 3.18, but people on 3.55 should get this before Sony pull it from the store. Some people are reporting ahving trouble finding it on the Vita store, so consider looking using a PC if that is the case.

To emphasise, this will allow you to install TN-V11 and ARK2 giving you kernel mode access to the PSP mode. Homebrew, isos, everything. This will NOT let you use native Vita mode hombrew.

Ouch $10! Too bad they couldn't have found a cheap exploitable game again like PHP for 3.55 users. But I suppose that is a low price to pay for homebrew and PSP ISOs/soundless PS1 EBOOTs.

I believe you'd need to connect to the Internet to download it anyway. There are other exploitable games for 3.36 that can be downloaded.

Ah yes, therein lies the issue as I have no PS3 to download the game with and then transfer across and wish to keep my Vita as is. Any ideas?

If you don't want to update your firmware then I believe you are out of luck, although you can always ask a friend who has a PS3.

not if someone updated to 3.55, which is what the exploit game is for. if someone was on 3.52 or below, they would not care about this release.

That is very interesting as I am on 3.36 but once again how would I get a PSP title onto the Vita without a PS3/updating?

Still up as of Monday night. Do note that you can't find it through the Vita PS Store application, and can seemingly only buy it through the web store. I'll update when I get things up and running.

Also apparently the game itself is bad, but I guess the tradeoff for PSP-mode kernel access is more than good enough.

UPDATE: She lives. Just installed TN-V. Now what to do first...?

only way is to use a ps3 with psn access and that has the same account as your vita is on

Thanks for the update blocker link but tried that a while back and as joe88 mentions it doesn't work. I'm going to have to try and obtain some PS3 access.

I have totally lost interest in the PSViTA scene since Retroarch is done on the 3DS! Im still enjoying Spelunky, The Binding of Isaac, Rogue Legacy, Limbo, FEZ and all other great on the PSViTA though

It's still up on the store, but it will not allow you to checkout. Oh well, hopefully another exploit game is discovered soon.
