Hardware new computer

my dad used to make entire traing apps in the DOS era, like botcamp for every new employee of some company. he'll probably look at what I am buying, he'll look for the disk, he'll not like it.

basically, pirating isnt an option. my mom would break my neck if she knew!

I don't see why most parents would give a damn about piracy, it doesn't hurt anyone, I am sure Microsoft have got enough money to not worry about every other person having pirated copies of Vista, but then again if you know how to use torrents generally your not an idiot and would be using XP.

I still recommend a P45 motherboard of 780i if you plan to build a all out gaming rig, I definitely recommend Asus motherboards they are by far the best, I tried Gigabyte but they died on me after a week 4 times in a row so I got a refund and went Asus.

We won't stock Asus any more. They've given us far too much grief. We use a variety of cheap boards for low end office type machines, but anything decent gets a Gigabyte board.

But hey, that's just our experience. There's loads of machines out there with Asus boards running fine!

All four of my PCs are running on Asus boards and two of those are running 24 hours a day for the past 2 years, the only problem I've had is a corrupt BIOS which isn't uncommon on all MB manufactures. Plus a 4 year old could fix a corrupt BIOS.
