I'd say it's as valid as it gets considering it took me under 12 hours to update the old thread.
You only updated it cause I made a fucking thread. The community shouldn't have to tell you to update your fucking thread. Get off my thread and go back to your own.

I was never in charge of doing it in the first place, I didn't even know he hadn't been doing it. I don't know why you're so angry all of a sudden

Because you were here completely trashing my thread when all I was doing was making an updated thread.
"I was never in charge of doing it in the first place, I didn't even know he hadn't been doing it." Thats your reason? ok... not like I knew you and wolfvac or whatever had the ability to edit the thread. theres my reason.

Like we said, all you had to do was mention something. Doesn't change the fact that this is pretty much just a duplicate thread and it's not like I stare at the OP and check if he updated it at all

It doesnt matter if it is a duplicate thread as long as its being updated.
"all you had to do was mention something" Various members probably already have, And i have the same argument as "not like I stare at the OP and check if he updated it at all" I viewed the thread back like 3 months ago or something and then checked it again a few days ago. And thats why I made the thread, it was outdated.

To my knowledge, no had ever asked that. You still overreacted by just making a new thread like this is /vg/ or something. W/e keep the thread if you want, besides, yours still has waay less content than the old one.

"W/e keep the thread if you want, besides, yours still has waay less content than the old one." It has less because in your thread most of them dont have a config file.

Alright, who the fuck cares. It's two bytes of data that isn't hard to put in. It's in the script since most people don't have a hex editor on hand. All of that shit won't matter anyway in the coming weeks anyway.
the best part is that technically this thread is already outdated - or at least it will be once 0.7 gets released alongside the new config format.

@ShinyMK
Maybe you should add the information to the main topic that there are also some boot loaders, like BootCTR9 with the newer Dev Releases and the upcoming PRE 1.0 release, supporting boot animations for one or both screens.

This thread is specifically tailored to BootAnim9, There files are probably different sorry d:

At least BootCTR9 uses the same configuration files as BootAnim9 does, but with different naming, while Ctrbootmanager9 2.x uses its own configuration file for this. But if the informations like fps and animation type would be posted together with the animation and the config, it will be no problem. It would also help people to migrate faster to the next Bootanim9 release and the plaintext configurations.
