New Bayonetta on the way?

Bayonetta director Yusuke Hashimoto got gamers in Japan buzzing earlier today with a mysterious Tweet. Translated from Japanese, the post read "Good morning. This week, it looks like we'll be able to share new information related to Bayonetta. Please look forward to it."

Sadly, Hashimoto did not provide further clarification. However, in response to a follower's English language retweet reading "More Bayonetta on the way?", Hashimoto wrote, in English, "Please look forward to it."

Is this a first hint at a Bayonetta sequel? Or perhaps some download content? Or maybe Bayonetta (the character) is going to be converted into one of those human-sized pillows everyone's talking about these days.

The original Bayonetta came out earlier this year in the English speaking world, but was released in advance to Japan last October.

I really didn't like Bayonetta. It was kind of slow and boring... or maybe I just didn't get far enough into it, because I thought the same thing about Fallout 3. Anyways, it almost looks like Bayonetta focused more on the main character being like a slut during combat and less on the combat itself.

Why is there going to a sequal? I heard the first one was not that great and only made decent sales around the 1.000's.

Well, I never played Bayonetta (mainly because it's still too expensive.) and it seems pretty good. Hopefully the sequel will slash the price of the original. Maybe I'll pick it up.

I hope this is about a sequel. I loved the first one and I loved the combat style of the game despite despising Devil May Cry.

I think I was the one in few people that was actually into the story.

Maybe Anime? Highly possible.

Sex may sell, but if I want to look at softcore porn I can do that without buying a video game.
