Hardware new 3ds XL

hey does the new 3DS XL have a file transfer feature?

I'm dreading having to remove the backplate each time I want to update firmware and was wondering if by some miracle Nintendo has released some type of software within the OS to dump files onto the microSD card? (helps for music too

Yeah it does. I don't have one so I can't tell you any more, but someone can.

hmmm Can someone give me a tutorial or link to how it works? Will I be able to dump a launcher.dat there for gateway?
I hate unscrewing things.
