Hardware new 3ds xl problems

Title is now call: Is this normal for a new 3ds xl

It seems that the old 3ds that I had was brighter and used a more cool color temperature while the new 3ds xl has a more warm color temperature and seems less bright. I have to look at the 3ds directly and have it close to me or the colors will seem to be less bright and have a warmer color temperature being several distance away from the new 3ds xl.
I also have this weird orange light coming off of the screen on the new 3ds xl, but I can only see it if I put the system in a specific angle and close to my eyes.Can't see the orange light during game play. The game slot of the new 3ds xl also sounds grindy compare to old 3ds and it seems that the game card can be more tricky to put in compare to old 3ds and the fact I have to use more pressure.

I am asking if it's normal for there to be a orange light that comes from inside the new 3ds xl since I notice the top screen isn't really seal properly. But I only notice it if I put it close to my eyes and at a specific angle. And also if the it's normal for the new 3ds xl to have a warmer color temperature and what seems to be lower brightness. And the fact that the game card slot sounding very grindly compare to old 3ds.
