Hardware new 3ds xl firmware

Hi. I was wondering if I purchased a brand new n3ds right now what firmware would be prepared installed on it. Any help would be appreciated.cheers

Most likely between 9.6 - 10.3 but as of now everything up to 10.6(current fw) is downgradeable so you'll be fine no matter what.

Thanks. I saw that 10.6 downgrade is possible but as I'd need a copy of cubic ninja I was hoping that 10.6 consoles had hit store shelves yet.

Currently Firmware v9.9 is embedded in New 3DS and New 3DS XL regular packs in the market.

got a 9.9 n3DS Hyrule today, buy it new and your fine, a used one is another story.

With a bit of searching you can find consoles that are on 9.0.0

All good now thank you. I purchased a brand new n3ds which was 9.5e and downgraded it to 9.2.

Ich picked up a new3DS (White) from Gamestop yesterday and it was on 9.0 out of the Box.
