ok so i got a new nintendo 3ds xl and i was wondering if I could get CFW for it on 11.3

Yes go to 3ds.hacks.guide and follow for your 3ds system and firmware. It will use soundhax as your homebrew entry point

when i install them they dont show up on my home screen, i have to go through FBI to play them

how many games do you have?

the only time you need to use FBI is when you have over 300 games installed.

if you did everything right, freeshop should install games straight to your home screen.
