You can update the ios with "wii mod" or "multi mod manager", you can update it from online NUS or via wad. Once ios 56 is up to date you can simply install the netflix. You can also use "modmii" to download the ios56 wad from your pc and install it via wad on your wii.

So using this IOS and the wad can someone on wii 4.0 also install it without the shop channel?
NVM got it, thanks I've been looking forever for a way to do this. Anyone have a link for the IOS56 I can save just for backup as MMM kinda was being weird with the connection.
