Hacking NeoGamma USB cheat help

I'm trying to load Ocarina cheats from my Flash drive, but It doesn't seem to work. Any specific settings I have to use? (i'm using sys. menu 3.2 with 4.2 features, NeoGamma R8) I've checked out all of the technicalities already. Its the same region codes I'm trying to load, the Game ID's match up, but it tells me no ocarina cheats were found.

put the codes in a SD card in "codes" folder (use codemanager).
in the settings in neogamma, hook type to VBI, ocarina set to on, SD using cIOS

I had this same problem..My HDD is partitioned into 2: 1 being FAT32 for HBC and 1 WBFS for games..when trying to load cheats with neogamma, it would say no usb cheats found, even though everything was in its place. Turns out, I had to stick my little 4 gig usb stick in the other usb slot and put the cheats on that to work! I hope this helps
